Windows security notice

Windows shows warnings for independent developers. This is normal and doesn't mean the software is harmful. Follow the steps to install safely.

Installation steps

1SmartScreen

A blue popup shows "Don't run". Click More info at the top left.

2Run the app

The app name appears. Click Run anyway.

3Permission

A User Account Control popup asks about an unknown publisher. Click Yes.

Why "unknown publisher"? Code signing certificates cost hundreds of dollars a year — not justified for small non-commercial apps. It doesn't mean the software is unsafe.

4Agreement

Select I accept the agreement and click Next.

Installation complete. The application installs normally from here.
